The good old Yamaha Pacifica has been around now for 36 years! The entry level guitar is a huge favourite with schools and many a novice due to the quality of finish for the price.
Some of you may know that Yamaha had a big range from entry to pro level made Pacificas.
Around 18 month ago they added possibly the best model to the range, after years of collaboration and research with Rupert Neve Designs, they produced the "reflectone" pickups, which are low noise, almost hifi quality and clarity.
These were loaded into an all new Indonesian pro level Pacifica, in an HSS format with coil split via the tone pot (push/pull)
The result is a real players dream, perfect for live and recording with bright accurate tonal range. The have an RRP of £1,099 and can be found at £939 on the web.
That said, this example that was bought last year, would pass as a new guitar, it really is a mint condition beauty, meaning you can own this and save a pretty packet too.
