You probably know that I am a huge fan of all things Japanese from this era, a golden age of high quality guitars available now at very reasonable prices.
This lovely old Westone is a prime example, dating from 1981 it is a through neck electrics with forward thinking electric switching.
Given its age it is what I would call a very honest condition with dings and marks from its 45 years of enjoyment, please see the pictures for a detailed look! The surprising thing i that in bright/daylight the guitar is actually a deep bottle green trans finish, not black as it looks.
All electrics are good, hardware and frets are fine and it plays very well.

  • Body - Canadian Ash, Rock Maple and Walnut
  • Set neck (Similar to that on the Rainbow I and II) - 5 piece laminate of Ash, Maple and Walnut, Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75 inch scale, 22 frets
  • 2 Magnet-530 pickups, 3 way selector switch, master volume and two tone controls, phase and coil tap switches
  • Steel tailpiece and bridge with brass saddles, brass nut.
