Walden are a much respected maker when it comes to acoustics and electros and while they are not "flashy" or adorned with elaborate detail, they are built to a very high standard with sensible technological points, like the neck being glass fibre reinforced either side of the truss rod.
The tops are solid and use premium timbers, this being the most important part of any acoustic build, so they really have focused on the sound and this shows in the performance.

This is one of the flagship models, with red western solid cedar top, pierced/scalloped bracing, Fishman electrics, and ovangkol back and sides.

This combination gives a fabulous acoustic stand alone guitar with a punchy, evenly balanced projection. Then once plugged in it becomes a real pro performance guitar for stage or studio.
