Walden are a much respected maker when it comes to acoustics and electros and while they are not "flashy" or adorned with elaborate detail, they are built to a very high standard with sensible technological points, like the neck being glass fibre reinforced either side of the truss rod.

This 570 non cutaway has a red western cedar top favoured by pickers for its clarity and projection, this is enhanced by the pierced lightweight scalloped bracing, as fitted to the premium models.
