Walden G570CE - Solid Cedar Top Grand Auditorium Electro

Walden are a much respected maker when it comes to acoustics and electros and while they are not "flashy" or adorned with elaborate detail, they are built to a very high standard with sensible technological points, like the neck being glass fibre reinforced either side of the truss rod.
The tops are solid and use premium timbers, this being the most important part of any acoustic build, so they really have focused on the sound and this shows in the performance.

This 570 model features red cedar giving a warming clear tone, this is combined with the "low mass" bracing, which is pierced to make it lighter and more resonant.

The onboard preamp is good quality and ideal for live and recording work.
