The Analogman King of Tone, & Prince of Tone pedals, have long been regarded as some of the best drive circuits out there, with King of Tones fetching many hundreds due to the long build wait times. Analogman teamed up with MXR to take the Prince of Tone circuit (half of a King of Tone, so a single drive pedal), and shrink it into a mini enclosure to create the Duke of Tone.
The range of tones on this is stunning. You can get everything from a clean or dirty boost, a raunchy overdrive which would put any Tubescreamer to shame, or a thick distortion with a bunch of clarity even at maxed out gain. I can see why this circuit is so highly revered, it sounds fantastic for basically any style of music, and a no-brainer drive option.
