As years go on, these are getting harder to find. This is due to players now realising just how good these early law suit era Tokai Gakki models are, and to be fair, if they are good enough for SRV and Billy Gibbons, who can argue!

This one is dated to 1982 and is the ST-65 with a gorgeous old rosewood fingerboard, the like of which is never seen today. As you can see this one has had a life, as indeed it deserves. The finish is naturally worn and marked, or if you prefer..."relic'd"!
The electrics have been modified so it runs the middle tone pot for neck and middle, then the rear pot for the bridge pickup.
I think the neck and middle are 90s Seymour Duncans and a hotter Khaler hot single coil has been fitted to the bridge position. The original Tokai bridge pickup will be included in the deal.
It has the early "final prospect" saddles, the neck and body are original and nicely worn as mentioned. The frets are lower than new, as expected, that said it plays very well with no choking or buzzing.
The guitar will be cleaned, restrung and set up before sale.
