In the late 70's when Japanese Tokai guitars hit the UK shores they were on the whole ignored in favour of Fenders, however it soon became clear that these are seriously well made instruments that equal and on cases beat Fender for quality and finish. Fender actually used the Japanese factories in 1982 to start the Squier JV production having seen the quality level being produced.....and here ends the first lesson...
This one is a 2017 example with matching headstock, a fabulous Jazz style in off white, complete with generic hard case. No issues to report on this one, very light play evidence, but no dings/chips etc. Classic 2 x volume and master tone layout. These are still made today with an RRP of £1379, making this something of a steal...but you know us at Badlands, we aim to please!
