Tokai 1981 LS50 Love Rock - Japanese vintage classic

We are proud to be able to offer this true law suit era Tokai dating from 1981, with the "correct" open book Gibson headstock.
This one looks very original and sounds incredible, and I don't say that lightly having played too many Les Pauls for my own good over the past decades.
I have taken very detailed images of the neck join, as there is a historic lacquer split here, and I have determined that this is not a break in the underlying wood.
The overall condition for a 44 year old rock machine is very honest and tidy. It is not mint, it has been used and enjoyed so there is some play wear, but everything works perfectly and the neck/frets are great.
We service thousands of guitars through the shop and see many makes and eras, and hand on heart this is way above any new standard USA version made today.
