Squier Classic Vibe 70s Jaguar relic Factory refin!!

Well this was a nice surprise! As you probably know from Fender custom shop relics, back in the 60's if a finish was not good enough, if was over sprayed in a solid colour, so as not to waste the body.

In modern days this is rarely seen, and yet this CV Jaguar is a genuine over-finish from the factory. It has a few marks on the body, which when we looked in detail noticed the original colour was daphne blue.
Well this was far too good an opportunity to pass up, and so it went onto the Badlands bench of wonders and many hours were spent creating this gorgeous "black on blue" relic. 

The guitar is fully set up with 11s and plays....just like a Jaguar! Now to be fair, you could go and find a Fender version that has been through the custom shop if that is your thing, however it will come with a £5,000 price tag attached.
