Ovation USA Collectors Series 1998 with Original case

These have always been a sought after guitar, Ovation made special editions each year known as the collectors series, many variations of the USA models in limited runs.

Some years were more desirable than others and 1998 was among the top "most wanted"! This lovely 1998 example is quite amazing given that it is now 27 years old. There is little evidence of use and certainly none of abuse, it really is a tidy guitar indeed.
We have just set this one up on our bench, it plays with a crazy low action and the electrics are fabulous, fully working with no issues.
As you can see it also has its original Ovation branded fitted hard case.

The spec consists of a single round cutaway style, highly figured maple top, laser cut leaf epaulets shaped with a cluster of 15 smaller sound holes, bound body, mid depth bowl body, 5-piece maple/mahogany neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with 12th fret inlay, strings through rosewood bridge, 3-per-side tuners, piezo bridge pickup, OP-24E system, available finished in New England burst.
