Neil McHardy Hand made "Veronica" Recycled woods Electro acoustic
Now this is an interesting piece, hand made by Neil McHardy operates from a village in Cumbria, making acoustic instruments out of recycled wood.
As far as we know there are less than 40 around, and this one was made in 2020, when I guess he had plenty of time to work alone in his shed!!
The overall guitar is quite rustic as you can see with some nice design touches. The neck is bolted from the inside of the heel so this can be removed and adjusted if required. It is fitted with a Fishman preamp and pickup system, which are working fine, including the built in tuner.
Tonally this style has a flat response, so no booming bass, or ultra bright high end, great for singing along with or recording/live performance.
The condition is "played" the thin lacquer finish has been worn through in the usual places, adjacent to the sound hole and where jewellery or buckles etc have been in contact. So it is not mint and shiny, but iit is sound, no breaks etc.
One tuner has been replaced with an odd colour button.
