The stuff of legend! This incredible guitar is a 1990 Levinson Blade, R3 active eq players dream. These are just unbelievable "Strat" style guitars, and being made in Japan the quality and attention to detail is the best you can buy. The ebony fretboard is a nice quality touch to an already top end instrument.
The electrics are possibly the most versatile that you can find, with a standard 3 single coil pickup layout and 5 way selector for a starter, you can then add the onboard active electrics (VSC system) operated via the 3 way mini toggle switch.
  • VSC System:
    • Passive Mode (Center): Bypasses the active circuit.
    • Boost Mode 1 (Down): Midrange boost.
    • Boost Mode 2 (Up): Treble/Bass boost (Contour mode).
  • Active Controls: The VSC system is powered by a 9V battery and features three trim pots on the back of the guitar for adjusting the EQ boost levels.

So you can see just how you can set the tone to your exact needs, once set, it becomes your own unique "Strat"!

This 1990 example is very clean indeed, no sinister issues here, just a top quality Levinson Blade.
