You don't see one of these come up very often!

This is an Ibanez Talman TV650, made in the legendary Fujigen factory in 1993.

The spec on it is quite something! The HSH pickups are designed by Kent Armstrong, and they sit in a 'Resoncast' body, with a 'gravure' Quilted Brown Sunburst body. So technically, it's a painted simulation of a quilted maple, not an actual quilted maple. This is the same on the neck: it's a solid Maple neck with a printed on birdseye finish. Don't let this put you off. Honestly, until I looked up the spec, I had no idea it wasn't real quilted maple or birdseye, it looks and feels great. The hardware is unbranded Ibanez, although feels and looks very much like Gotoh to me.

I believe the two switches on the top horn are not factory - they've been added. The top one sounds like a phase flip switch for the bridge pickup, and the lower one brings the neck pickup in on the bottom two switch positions. This allows you to have all 3 pickups engaged at once, with the bridge pickup in or out of phase for more wirey/hollow tones.

It's in decent condition for a 31 year old guitar. Apart from some very small marks, and some patina to the gold hardware. There's minimal fretwear. I've given it a full setup with 9-46 strings and it plays very nicely indeed! A unique and gorgeous guitar that'll really stand out in a world of Strats.
