Ibanez Prestige RGA622XH Japanese with hard case - Axe design Lab

This stunning RG, like many from Ibanez, was quite a short lived run from 2023 to 2025. These are known for the extended fret board offering 27 frets on the high E.
The spec is everything you could dream of from a pro end RG model, Lo-Pro Edge, Tone Zone and Air Norton pickups, Wizard HP neck, ebony board, master volume and tone with 3 way blade and a coil split micro switch.

This is a fabulous example which has been fully set up and ready to go. There are 2 minor cosmetic points to note. One is a small ding on the upper edge which has been colour filled, and the other was a slight loss of lacquer on the edge on the fret board. Again this has been repaired and is totally smooth now.

This really is a great chance to own a Japanese Prestige at a killer price. These were £1,800 when released and some examples reduced to £1600+ as the model was dropped.

The RGA622XH features a sculpted African mahogany body bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard HP neck with a 27-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard with binding, mother of pearl offset dot position markers, and Luminlay side dots. Components include a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a pair of Dimarzio pickups with a The Tone Zone humbucker at the bridge and an Air Norton S blade-style single-coil sized humbucker mounted askew at the neck, and Gotoh tuning machines.
