The RG921WBB is an RG series made in Indonesia as part of the premium range, and boy oh boy what a great guitar it is!

This one features a buckeye burl top on an American basswood body with a  wenge and bubinga wizard neck - 24-fret wenge fingerboard with offset mother of pearl dot position markers. You get the "Tight-End R" fixed bridge and a fabulous pair of  DiMarzio/Ibanez humbuckers.
This one is in nice condition and has set up extremely well and while the current action is low, it could go lower if you play "tapping" style.
The finish is a satin/matt which has glossed in the areas of contact from play. This does not show very well unless angled to the light to see it.

The switching splits the humbuckers as shown here - 

  • Position 1: Bridge Humbucker (Full)
  • Position 2: Bridge and Neck Inner Coils (Coil-split/Single-coil tone)
  • Position 3: Both Humbuckers (Full)
  • Position 4: Neck Pickup Parallel (Produces a thinner, cleaner tone)
  • Position 5: Neck Humbucker (Full)
