Rare doesn't even come close when it comes to describing this legend of an amplifier - a 1x12 Hiwatt Custom 100 DR103 combo. A few of the Custom 100 heads appear and the odd 2 x 12" but these really are the holy grail.
This one dates to 1980 and is fully working. The original speaker (most likely a Fane) was replaced, and the replacement speaker that was in there was dead, so we've put in a Celestion Neo Copperback 250 and new cable. As this speaker is based on the EVM12 it is a perfect match for the amp.
While this was gigged a couple of decades ago it has seen little hard use since and really does need to be used and enjoyed again. Feel free to come and hear this beauty in the shop. I would say compare it to all the others out there, but that would be daft as there just aren't any!
