Gretsch G5420T 2021

The Gretsch Electromatic's are a cracking range, which sit above the Streamliner in the hierarchy, but give you that classic Gretsch look, sound, and feel for a fraction of the price of an American or Japanese one. The contours and curves of this G5420T are classic Gretsch, and although this is described as a 'Walnut Stain' finish, we'd say that it looks more like a wine red. Yum. 

This model is a fully hollow one, perfect for all you rockabilly folks out there, but these are much more versatile than that! The Filter'Tron humbuckers sound great for just about anything - I used to use one in a fuzzy stoner rock band (Ed here!)

This is in pretty immaculate condition, and comes with the original hardcase. An authentic Gretsch "G" tailpiece has been fitted, but the original Bigsby is included if you want the wobble back. We can set it up for you with either, just let us know. If you're not a fan of the extra faff involved with a Bigsby, but still want to rock that big Gretsch hollowbody, then maybe this one has answered your prayers to the guitar gods!
