OK, name aside, this is a real marmite electro, it has some great features being a sweet easy to play parlour, and loaded with a Fishman preamp and pickup it is excellent for recording or live work.
It is white with metal-flake gold binding, which may not be to everyones taste, but that said Gretsch have sold thousands!
This used example is a game of two halves, on the "not so brilliant" side it has a small paint chip that has been colour filled, and a lacquer split/crack. We have inspected this and the top is perfect, no cracking in the wood it is 100% cosmetic.
On the "brilliant" side a set of £150 gold plated Schaller tuners have been fitted, these are about as good as tuners get, so you are sure of excellent tuning stability.
The action has been set low on this one and it has been fully setup and strung with 11's.
