Gibson SJ-200 Montana with fitted Fishman Presys 1997
Gibson SJ-200 Montana with fitted Fishman Presys 1997
Well there is no need for any introduction here, if you are not aware of the all time best Gibson Jumbo, then maybe you should consider taking up the banjo!
The SJ200 features a sitka spruce top, AAA flame maple back & sides, a round profile 2 piece maple neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard, two bar SJ-200 moustache rosewood bridge and this one has had the Fishman presys preamp and pickup fitted, turning it into a truly awesome performance guitar.
Note the truss rod cover has one marked "standard", this is not original, but the original is also included.
This is a very honest 1997 example, and for its 27 years of enjoyment it has survived very well. OK it is not mint "hang it on the wall" condition, it has very minor marks from use, but certainly no abuse, no worrying issues, breaks, cracks etc, just a well loved instrument. The case is original, slightly tatty from use, but structurally good.
Many examples of these without electrics can be seen at over the £4k, so this one, while not a cheap guitar, is a very competitively priced offering!
