FujiGen Signature STR-1 Les paul 59 - Tanglewood?

Back is 2004 the famous Japanese FujiGen factory was asked to produce a high end LP '59 style guitar, and being one of the best manufacturers in the world they set about this little masterpiece.
The very best timbers were selected, full thickness solid maple cap, the neck is a long tenon join, nice tight grain rosewood fret board and all round solid hardware and electrics. After very few were made, this is thought to be around just 1,000 before a cease and desist was issued.
At the time these were commissioned by Tanglewood but were not marketed under their name as the idea was to launch a rival to the USA guitars with similar spec and build quality, at a very down to earth price.
This is a very tidy example indeed, very minor play wear on the back, but no issues that would cause sleepless nights.
These rarely crop up and are one of the best kept secrets in the electric guitar world, hand on heart....what a guitar!
