All too often the word "rare" is used in the world of guitars, but this one is a very scarce guitar indeed, and highly sought after.
This is a 1988 Young Chang factory made Fender, these were only made for around a year and a lot of the parts were Japanese, brought to the factory by the Japanese staff who trained the new staff in Korea.
It looks like this one was vintage white/cream originally but it was refinished just 2 years later in 1990 in sonic blue nitro, which as you can see has checked and worn beautifully now.
These are know for having slim necks and indeed this is the case here. We have just fitted a set of "Tonerider" vintage plus singe coils to this one and it is up there with many higher end Fenders.
This is a perfect way to own a real vintage Fender with relicing, without remortgaging for a custom shop model!
