If you're into heavy music like I am (Ed here!), then you may have heard of Converge. They were (and still are!) a driving force in the Hardcore/Metalcore genres.
If you've heard of them, then it's likely you know of their guitarist Kurt Ballou. As well as being in Converge, he's also a highly respected and prolific recording engineer, operating out of his studio God City.
As well as making his own guitars under his brand 'GCI', he's owned and played many guitars by different brands over the years, as well as using them in his studio. This is one such guitar - a parts build Jazzmaster that he put together out of a Warmoth body and Japanese Fender neck. This been used on stage with Converge (kind of... different parts of it on different builds across different tours apparently!)

It is loaded with 3 incredible EGC (Electrical Guitar Comapny) pickups, modelled around the G&L designed MFD units; so while they look like a classic P90, they deliver a whole lot more, hence the ability to install the switching options seen on this one. These are near impossible to find/buy.
Being a studio guitar, it naturally has a number of different pickup options for a wide range of sounds. It has an on/off for each individual pickup, plus in/out of phase and series/parallel switching.
It is a monster of a guitar in performance, and weight, coming in at 10.9lb, and bears some battle scars.
The former owner bought it directly from Kurt in the USA.
Grab an awesome guitar, owned by a legend of underground metal.
