Fender USA 1980 Lead II - 100% original with case

This lovely old bit of Fender history arrived to us in a bit of a mess it has to be said, stored for many years and as a result some neck poly had peeled away. I have spent a couple of days taking this apart down to every last screw, then cleaning it piece by piece, setting the neck, levelling the frets, oiling the neck, cleaning all the electrics and re-assembling it before a full set up.
While doing the work I noted that it is 100% original, the insides have never been touched and it all works well. It now has the perfect look of a real vintage Fender and is a great little guitar indeed.
These have 2 single coils, with a 3 way toggle switch, plus another 2 way to reverse the polarity of the neck pickup, which offers an in or out of phase middle position.
The woods used are fabulous, real old school ash body, dark rosewood fingerboard, and maple neck.
Please study the pictures, this is not a mint condition guitar, but it is a great guitar!
The case is also an original that came with it, it has rusted metal parts and one catch isn't staying closed, but it is all part of the vintage package, included in the deal.
