OK, if you are not familiar with this exceptional Telecaster, I will enlighten you...
There is a band in Japan, The Bawdies, whose guitarist (Taku Funayama) in known as Taxman, most likely as he is a huge Beatles fan! This very special edition Tele is his signature model, which is also known as the special edition roadworn hot rod Telecaster!
There were only 165 guitars made worldwide in this very limited run.
The spec and finish quality is crazy and would get mistaken for a custom shop guitar!
This model has a 3tone sunburst nitrocellulose finished ash body, a Seymour Duncan '59 neck humbucker, a Custom Shop Nocaster bridge pickup, and a soft "V" maple neck. It is a vintage-style Tele, with that worn-in feel that can deliver a pro performance.
Just look at the pictures and you can see this is a very special Fender indeed, build to a standard that has never been seen from the Mexican factory before...what an absolute stunner!
