Fender Special - Classic Player Jaguar

Now rumour has it that this Jaguar belonged to Francis Rossi, which I thought seemed feasible, until I realised there is no hole drilled through the body!!

Yes as you can see this lovely jag has been stripped and had a green oil finish added and a black guard fitted, making it a pretty unique example, and in my humble opinion, a real cool looking axe.. This one is more like the originals with a pair of single coils, giving a classic Jag-jangle!

The controls are also the original layout, with rhythm switch on the top horn switching between the lower controls and the upper rollers (volume and tone) The rhythm circuit runs the neck pickup with a cap on the tone for a darker sound.
The lower 3 switched are neck and bridge pickup on/off and a bass cut (strangle switch) Then you get volume and tone for this circuit.

All working and playing very well, this is a sweet Jag indeed.
