The Fender Stratocaster - as we all know there are endless models from many countries and it can be a minefield finding a good classic Strat.
Well over the decades I have been selling fixing and setting up Fenders (other brands are available!) it has been a constant joy when a road worn turns up.
These are loaded with a Tex Mex set, have a classic alder body, soft "V" neck and they are head and shoulders above standard production.
As a rule they are light, and this one is no exception, it has been set up and like all of these, it plays like a dream.
Now...there is "road worn" and then there's this one!! From new the paint is relic'd in the factory. This one was black when new, but then someone thought it a great idea to hand paint in white, the next owner didn't feel the same way and stripped it back to the natural body and fitted a black pick guard. There are hints of black, and white paint here and there, making it quite a unique guitar. Personally..I love it, it looks cool and I know it plays well and sounds great!
These earlier 50's reissues are creeping up in price with several on the market north of £1,000, so this is going to make someones day/month/year....delete as appropriate!
