Never has a guitar had so many names!! Lets break it down. It is a Fender, that much is simple. It is from the Tie Dye series, of which there were 2 colours, this one known as the band of gypsies, after the Hendrix album cover. The other was hippie blue (self expiatory!) While some call this a Stratocaster, others call it a Showmaster. I tend to go with the later.
It is a single coil/humbucker layout with a Stat style modern 2 point tremolo. A nice rosewood fingerboard over maple neck, larger frets. The electrics are similar to a Telecaster in as much as you get a 3 way toggle with master volume and master tone.
This used example is in fair/good condition, some swirling on the finish, a couple of small nibbles at the very end of the headstock, but not much more as you can see. It has been set up and freshly strung with 9-49 hybrid strings.
This has to be a bargain for someone wanting a fender with a little difference.
