Well you really don't see these every day, dating from 1995 this is a special, limited "deluxe" edition 50th anniversary Japanese model.
This is a bit of a special Tele, with USA wiring loom, 2 Strat pickups and a Tele bridge pickup, as it left the factory. The body is specifically S/S/S routed and has belly and arm contours.
These were a deluxe model made in the FujiGen factory to celebrate 50 years and have the "50th anniversary" badge on the back of the headstock.
This one has just been checked over, set up and strung and is a stunning Tele. The condition is good, with a couple of minor chips on the edge. The finish on these is nitro cellulose.
The switching is the same as a Strat with the 5 way blade CTS switch to give the "in-between" Strat options.
This was launched before Fender announced a "Nashville" model.
It is safe to say this is a very collectible 31 year old vintage MIJ Fender and I am sure we won't have it adorning our wall for too long!
