Fender enthusiasts will know an anniversary model is always a good choice. They always pull out the stops to make an excellent guitar, and this one is no exception! This 1994 American Standard features the headstock badge, and 40th anniversary neck plate (with micro-tilt) to signify the provenance.
It has an Alder body in the classic Midnight Wine colourway, with a Maple neck & fretboard. It has a two point bridge which we've set floating for some nice wobble. The pickguard and pickups have been swapped out for Lace Sensors, in a pearloid scratchplate.
This is a well played guitar and has the battle scars to match. There aren't any significant chips on the body, but there is some scratching, and on the neck there are some indentations at the higher frets which we can't quite figure out were caused by. Please let us know if you'd like more detailed pictures. After a setup, it plays great, with an action slightly below 2mm. The Lace Sensors sound thicker and fuller than your standard Strat, and the reduction in 60 cycle hum is a plus!

All used guitars items are fully checked in advance of shipping. We package very well and usually ship next working day unless the order falls on a Friday, then the guitar is sent out on the following Monday, to arrive Tuesday.
