Fender 2007 Standard Telecaster - Midnight Wine - Mexican

No introductions called for here, this is the ultimate workhorse instrument from Fender, the standard tele, built simply to work....to frills.....no gadgets, just plug it in a go!

The Tele can be found in more music genres than any electric guitar thanks to the vast tonal range between those 2 single coil pickups, one dark and moody at the neck, the other bright like an ice pick in your head, at the bridge. Between these two, plus the mid position and the tone control (YES it has a tone control, try using one!) you get a tone for anything from twangy country, to mellow blues, funky riffs, jazzy licks and full on Quo-tastic rock!
This 2007 example has had a couple of bites taken out of the edge as shown, plus a little lacquer lifted from the headstock but these small cosmetics aside it is great, no fret wear, it has been fully set up and freshly stung with Ernie finest, and needs a new home.
