Fender 1990 Stratocaster FujiGen/Mexico Rarity!

We have seldom ever seen an example of this fabulous collaboration guitar. When the Mexican factory was built, the staff from FujiGen worked on a "pre production" run, until the official launch of "Mexican made" guitars in 1991. 
Fenders were being made in Japan at the same time and this was a training period for the staff.
As you can see the gasket on the neck join is a classic Japanese feature, and the overall build and shape is that of the FujiGen guitars of the time. This lovely Strat was made in 1990.

There are several upgrades on this one, the addition of locking tuners, Iron Gear "Texas Loco" pickups in the neck and bridge positions and a Fender Noiseless in the centre, plus new scratch plates front and rear.
