This Epiphone wins in every way, it is a killer looking guitar, has huge versatility and this one plays extremely well too.
At the point Gibson changed the name of the Les Paul to SG in 1961 this model design was made and had the "Les Paul Custom" name at the end on the neck on the body.
As a triple humbucker guitar the switching is more simple than you may imagine.
If you forget the middle pickup the 3 way switch works as normal - neck, neck and bridge - bridge. There is a master tone switch and then a fully independent volume for that middle humbucker allowing the player to bleed in into any switching combination.
This is a very clean 20 year old model which has been well looked after. We have just restrung and set it up, and it really does play better than most.
