There has always been a great admiration for the original Guild hollow body range and in response to this Guild commissioned the DeArmond range to reproduce these classics without the eye watering price tag.
However, unlike the original Guilds, the DeArmond is a "semi hollow" and has a solid center block to resist feedback. The DeArmond 2K pickup is a P-90 type design, using ceramic magnets instead of the P-90's alnico magnets. The tone is fat with a sharp upper end.
This is a nice clean used example with light evidence of play, no cracks or breaks, all hardware and electrics are good and the very slightest wear to the frets.
