Danelectro DC59 PYS 50th Anniversary Clapton Limited edition #10 of 200

We found the following information across multiple sites and forums -

It is widely claimed that only 200 were made, and this seems to be correct.

They are listed as 50th anniversary or Clapton models, but there was only one production run from 2009 to 2010.

The tuners seem to be different, some with enclosed single tuners, others 3 on a strip.

Some have no serial numbers visible, some have serials in silver, and others in black.

In conclusion, this is a 2009 Danelectro DC59-PSY, sometimes called the "Clapton" edition. Several variations took place during the production run. They are all individually hand painted.

The thing that we did find most in common was that the current prices are generally very close to £800!!

If you scroll through the pictures you will see the production number written on the neck pocket, scratchplate and inside the body. This reads C10, which would point to signifying the 10th made out of 200.

So to say this one is rare, is very truthful indeed.
