This is perfect for someone starting out, it is a Jazz bass style, made by Cruiser/Crafter. As you can see it has had a home relic finish. 
The bass is fully working and set up, strings are good so it is ready to rock.

Controls on these are 2 volume controls, that's one per pickup, plus a master tone. The twin pickups are single coils and deliver a cleaner tone, while keeping the low frequencies.
