If you need a solid gig bass or a decent back up without breaking the back, this has to be a top option. The battle warrior of a bass if a Japanese made Columbus, from the late 70s or early 80s.
This one has the correct P-Bass profile and width neck, I mention this as quite a few modern Precisions are fitted with a narrow nut "Jazz" neck.
As you can see this one is bumped and bruised from decades of use, yet it still plays very well and sounds like a proper old school P Bass.
