This is one seriously impressive bass. If you are on a certain age you will recognise this design as these were a highly sought after instrument back in the late 70s/ early 80s when they were made in Japan. While you might still find a vintage one it will put a serious dent in your bank balance. This modern reissue is pretty darn close to the original, a solid ash body with a maple/ply through neck, a might powerful deep voiced humbucker that has the ability to be played in series or parallel opening up the tonal range. When you play this one you know it is a "real" bass, very solid and likely to survive a nuclear attack!
This is a "B" stock bass and has been inspected in detail here and the headstock has a 1cm light scratch and that is it, the rest is perfect/new/mint! As a result there is a massive saving to be had here and a nice deal for a pro level bass.
