This Aria Jet Baritone has a mighty 30" scale length - longer than your standard baritone - making it more akin to a Fender Bass VI. With the right strings on here, you could tune it down to bass tuning, although it comes stock with strings for B Standard tuning. If you're a heavy player, and want to plumb new depths of tone, then this could be your new secret weapon. Even if you're not a heavy player, then the timbre of a baritone is such a fun asset to have in your collection. With the combination of a humbucker and single coil, there's some great tonal option that isn't just thick and rocky - there's some twang to be had in the neck position that'd be a brilliant layer in recording.
