1977 MXR Dyna Comp Original

An original 1977 MXR Dynacomp! Great for that classic, squashed, country picking sound. 

The footswitch was broken, which I have replaced myself, and a new battery snap. At some point in its life, the trim pot at the top of the board was replaced with two fixed resistors. The trim pot biases the circuit, and is rarely set to anything other than one value, and will not work without being set to that. I assume this mod was done to either prevent it ever being knocked and the pedal not working as a result, or perhaps the pot broke and the value it was set to was soldered in place. Works grat otherwise!
