Here we have a fabulous and rarely seen Steinberger GR-4R electric guitar in a factory original candy apple red, which now has the mot amazing checking in keeping with its age. This is from 1991 and made in the original New York _ Newburgh factory. From what we can see this is all original.
This one is in very good condition with a small mark just in front of the trem. There is very light general wear from use, but for its age it is a very tidy example indeed.
It holds a low action and plays well. The pickups are in the HSS arrangement - 2 Double Rail Humbuckers at the neck and middle - with a humbucker at the bridge. The controls are a simple master volume and tone.
The neck is a headless graphite & carbon-fibre mix with white dot inlays, 24 frets in good condition with light wear, but plenty of life in them. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length.
It comes with the original gig bag and trem arm.
