I'm gonna be completely honest - when I first saw this guitar, I groaned... 

"A Hohner Strat copy?" I said with a snarl "this can't be any good".
I am very pleased to say that this has proven me very wrong indeed!!

Made in Korea in 1988, the Hohner ST Special is your standard Strat in most design aspects, with a 2-point bridge instead of your standard 6 screw vintage style one. It also sports a rather shreddy 14" radius! A bit odd, I know, but a fun alternative to a more vintage fretboard. Check out that Rosewood, too! Rich and dark.

After a good setup, the result is a rather excellent Strat. It plays fantastically and sounds very good. You won't find many better S-styles at this price point.
