Grote Thinline

Now this is a strange one! It is rare we have a guitar in that we simply cannot identify, but this Grote model has us stumped. We know Grote as a brand, they make quite a range of models, mostly focused on entry level Teles etc, with a few higher end examples.

This one is well above the average and nicely finished, with a set neck, semi hollow body and great flame top. The headstock is angled back like a Gibson design but looking more like a Tele, so it really has been in the mixing pot.
There is a possibility it is a prototype from some years ago, but whatever it is at just under £200 it is a lot of fun!
