This 1998 Fender Classic Series 50's Telecaster, has what we refer to in 'the biz' as 'mojo'. It's had plenty of use, and you can see why, as it looks rather classy indeed.
This is exactly what you'd expect from a 50's Reissue. This is authentic Tele, through and through!! It boasts an Ash body in 2-tone sunburst, 21 fret Maple neck with 7.25" fretboard radius, Alnico single coils neck and a hotter iron gear bridge pickup, chrome straight saddle bridge... Just straight-up Tele!
The neck is by no means a baseball bat, but it is perhaps slightly chunkier than a modern Tele. To be perfectly honest, this is not a shredder's dream. I've just set it up with an action a bit over 2mm, so that coupled with the vintage radius, make it a rhythm delight, although maybe a little more tough for your legato shredding - YMMV!!
